This artwork explores the interplay between still life and dynamism. At the center of the composition is a chair with a three-dimensional texture, outlined in white fluff to symbolize the stillness of everyday objects. In the lower left corner, a black mosquito, with simple yet dynamic lines, introduces a hint of restless vitality to the serene scene. The pure beige fabric background accentuates the contrast between stillness and motion. Through these two elements, the artwork captures small, subtle moments in life, reflecting the delicate relationship between inanimate objects and living energy.

My enthusiasm for art originates from my practice of punch needling and hand embroidery as mediums. Using needle, yarn and thread, I explore the close bond between individuals and objects, transforming everyday scenes and mindsets into durable resilient embroidered images. I craft tender feelings, illustrating the stillness of life. These layered fiber act as both a personal shield and a soft counter to external complexities. I reinterpret ordinary objects and leave the contours of memories on fabric, creating a subtle tension between the familiar and the unfamiliar in the interplay of threads or yarn. My creations bring daily occurrences to light within the repetitive texture of needlecraft—those overlooked fragments of life, quiet sentiments. Every loop in the process holds a narrative, enabling me to uncover new perspectives through repeated motions and sense how art transforms the mundane into the eternal.
