Tung Gallery is delighted to present solo exhibition of a Hong Kong local artist LOKKI “Some Poetic Moments”, featuring his latest series of paintings.

In this collection, LOKKI explores the significance of memories in his mind. It delves into the shared vessels of recollection that connect individuals, revealing how each memory shapes our personalities. Confronted by the unpredictability of life, memories take on varied meanings. Through this series, LOKKI organizes the fragments of his memories, reimagining their forms and attitudes. By understanding the emotional nuances of each recollection, he seeks to reconcile with various traumas and obsessions, embracing each profoundly meaningful memory in the purest and most personal way. With an open heart, he invites viewers to experience the beauty of fleeting moments and to seek a romantic definition of self.

The exhibition reception will be held from 6:30 to 9:00p.m. on Wednesday, 4 December, 2024, with the artist present. The exhibition will remain on view until 24 December, 2024.

Tung Gallery 東畫廊欣然呈獻香港藝術家LOKKI個人展覽：「Some Poetic Moments」，展出LOKKI最新一系列的作品。

在這個系列的作品中，LOKKI 探索了回憶在他心中的意義。人與人之間存在著共同的回憶載體，而在這種聯繫中，每段回憶都塑造了個性。面對命運的無常，回憶也具有不同的意義。透過這個系列，LOKKI 整理了心中每段回憶所佔據的位置，並重新賦予了它們新的形式和態度。了解每段回憶所承載的不同情感後，他希望在這個系列中與自身的創傷和偏執和解，以最純粹的方式擁抱每一段對他意義深遠的真摯回憶。他想用最真誠的心態去感受每一刻美麗而流動的緣分，並尋找自我定義中的浪漫色彩。

本展覽將於2024年12月4日星期三下午6時30分至9時正式開幕，屆時藝術家將親臨現場。展期至2024年12月24日。
